Here I am with the framed original painting to give you a sense of scale.

Stage 4 of Sir Nigel Gresley painting

Im adjusting as I go but Im very happy with the colours in this painting, the front of the steam engine is now looking solid and I now need to carry on the same technique to finish the train.

Stage 3 of Sir Nigel Gresley painting

I have added a fireman on this painting to give the viewer more interest.

Stage 2 of Sir Nigel Gresley painting

Now taken good shape, its a long process though mainly just using a number 4 size paint brush building up layer upon layer.

Stage 1 of Sir Nigel Gresley painting

This is a painting I have been working on for a while now, a evening painting of the 'Sir Nigel Gresley' at Bridgnorth Station. As you can see its coming along nicely and when done should be very atmospheric.

This painting has been commissioned but prints will be available when complete.
